Wildlife Conservation

At Florida Crystals, we value wildlife as a vital part of our ecosystem. Our sugarcane and rice farms both provide excellent refuges and habitats for a variety of animals.

Our local farms provide abundant food for our neighbors, whether human or animal, and vital green spaces where wildlife thrives. More than 160 species of native and migratory birds and dozens of species of mammals, amphibians, reptiles and fish depend on the unique habitats provided by our farmland. We have also constructed barn owl boxes on our farms, benefitting from these raptors for natural pest control.
