Florida Crystals ‘Stuffs the Bus’ to Give Local Students School Supplies
In preparation for going back to school, we proudly partnered with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County and CBS12 West Palm for the “Stuff the Bus” campaign, to equip students and teachers with essential school supplies for the 2025-26 school year.
We were delighted to help fill two full-size school buses to capacity with backpacks, notebooks, pencils and other essential supplies. The campaign surpassed its $300,000 fundraising goal, with proceeds directly benefiting classrooms across the Palm Beach County School District. From West Palm Beach to our Glades communities in western Palm Beach County, students will have the resources needed to learn, develop creative skills and achieve their goals because of this initiative.
“The Stuff the Bus campaign had a significant, immediate and visible impact on our local schools,” said Caroline Villanueva, South Florida External Affairs Director. “This is Back to School season at the Palm Beach County School District, and the need for supplies is significant. These donations are going directly to the classrooms and will help students learn, achieve and be creative as they enter the school year.”
We were pleased the Glades region, where our farms are located and many of our employees reside, was included in this campaign. “Supporting our Glades community, our home of more than six decades, is such a vital part of who we are, so we made it a priority to ensure Glades students were included and supported through this campaign,” Caroline said.
The Stuff the Bus drive benefited 97 schools in the Palm Beach County School District, which is the 10th largest public school district in the nation and the fifth largest in Florida.
