Florida Crystals is grateful to have helped make Thanksgiving a little more special for the brave people working in law enforcement in Palm Beach County over the holiday.

We have worked together with our partners at Big Heart Brigade many times over the years to show our gratitude to first responders in Palm Beach County. We partnered with Big Heart Brigade again this past holiday season to provide Thanksgiving staples and hot, fresh meals for the 400 Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) deputies and staff working through the holiday.

Our team of volunteers at our Distribution Center in western Palm Beach County filled 400 tote bags with packages of our Florida Crystals® Organic Raw Cane Sugar and 3-lb bags of our rice. Volunteers took half of the bags to PBSO’s West County facility in Belle Glade, while the other 200 bags were taken to the agency’s main office just outside West Palm Beach.

“I love working for a company that believes in giving back to the community,” said Julio Carranza. “I’m extremely grateful to Florida Crystals for giving me the opportunity to be a small part of something so big. I look forward to joining other events that allow us to show our gratitude to our neighbors and first responders for their support.”
