Florida Crystals Proudly Honors America’s 250th with July 4th Celebrations
Through Florida Crystals’ sponsorship of America250 (A250), we’ve been proud to honor our country’s historic anniversary throughout 2026, including following Florida Crystals’ mascot Ollie’s journey across the nation showcasing America’s iconic landmarks to our volunteer events where employees helped beautify America’s beaches, parks and public spaces.
On July 4th, we delighted in joining our communities to celebrate Independence Day. In our hometown for more than 65 years, we sponsored the City of West Palm Beach’s premier event, 4th on Flagler, adjacent to our headquarters. To honor America’s special anniversary, we partnered with the City to create the unique Florida Crystals Laser & Fireworks show. The evening drew thousands of attendees for live entertainment, music, food and fun, capped by the epic fireworks and laser show over the downtown waterfront.
To mark America’s 250th, we also draped a massive 42-foot by 23-foot American flag from the roof of our building, just above our Florida Crystals® sign, facing the event’s main stage, delighting passerbys.
During 4th on Flagler, West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James presented our own Sarah Brache, Product Manager, Research & Development, with recognition of Florida Crystals’ community support.
“We were very excited to sponsor the first Florida Crystals Fireworks & Laser show during America’s 250th anniversary,” Sarah said. “We pride ourselves in our commitment to our community, so teaming up with the largest 4th of July celebration right here in West Palm Beach was a natural step. We are proud of Florida Crystals’ Grown in the U.S. legacy.”
The night was a special occasion to recognize the honorable service of our military veteran employees Ben Sadler, Real Estate Counsel, Kevin Hernandez, Farm Manager, Miguel Pallango, CI Manager, Cody Krug, Quality Assistance Manager and Blake Torres, Materials Management Supervisor MRO.
Our yearlong celebrations have been an amazing time to build on Florida Crystals® U.S.-grown legacy. We are proud to be part of the American farming and manufacturing community, made stronger by the generations of employees who have helped shape our story. We look forward to continuing to celebrate America’s anniversary until we ring in the new year.
